vote neigh campaign merch

The Vote Neigh campaign, organized by my childhood best friend Rija Nazir, served to get young and seasoned voters alike excited to vote against a proposed amendment targeting reproductive rights. I often find myself wanting to get more involved but don't have the right words to, so I helped in the way I know best: designs.

The campaign needed eye-catching designs that avoided typical medical imagery and got people talking about the movement. I absolutely adore the cowgirl approach to this issue to boost attention and interest in the campaign.

In March 2023, Vote Neigh supporters voted in the Center for Digital Strategy's award summit. Vote Neigh won Best Merch and was also nominated for Best Creative Campaign. To me, Vote Neigh will always resonate as the most creative and exciting approach to an issue that feels scary.

The teamwork on this campaign was incredibly inspiring and I would love to continue to design for real-life issues such as this.
