mems magazine vol one - backyard bbq edition

Mems mag is the first edition of a monthly photobook documenting tiny details of various experiences. The project required photo direction and manipulation to produce images under a set color palette and aesthetic goal. 

Scans of related ephemera show each step within the greater scheme of things, highlighting ingredients and preparation of the overall experience.

Typography within food obscures the reality of the photoshoot and signals both the beginning and end of the magazine.
